To be fair, when the alumni associations come around begging for cash, I also pretend not to be home.  

I can't say it bothers me to see people lose their fortunes in a political campaign.  Hillary's defeat (likely, in a fair fight) gets a wry chuckle, but Mitt Romney squandering personal millions positively fills me with a warm glow.  (Do they get tax writeoffs for that, do you think?)
